I have a love hate relationship with Yoga. Coming from an endurance sports background my favorite workouts are those where you are exerting much force, sweating profusely and completely wiped out afterward. So the whole idea of Yoga was contrary to my belief system. The concept of a quite mind, and moving with your breath is often hard for me to understand. However, for the past several months I have been giving Yoga another go round, and I must say I am pleased with the results. First off I am in much better shape, secondly my flexibility has been increasing with each class I am really excited. I know that come triathlon season my body will be thanking me.
