Exhausted and unable to battle the fat demons. In my heart existed a universe of ideas, businesses and dreams that seemed much bigger than the pursuit of skinny. Even though we have different belief systems and ways of looking at the world we open up to one another and share our points of views without judgement. I think when friends can be open about their fears and beliefs in life it deepens the friendship. That is what I love about our relationship

Breakups: Lead By The Spirt

There was plenty of blame to go around (of course more on his side). While I could sit there and rack up an entire list of things my partner did wrong, and have friends who would co-sign and cheer me on as I did so it did not feel right this time. I couldn’t blame him, I couldn’t even blame God the only thing left after going through this test yet again and failing was ME.

My Therapy Journey

Over a year ago I started seeing Patti. Every other Thursday I sat down on her mini couch and discussed things that I never really talked about before. It was awkward to sit there and talk about myself without giving her a chance to divulge, but I was paying so it seemed like an even exchange. It was something I suppressed for many years.
